Comic Mint is pleased to offer Looney Tunes fans this SOLD-OUT piece of animation art featuring Michigan J. Frog, from the classic Chuck Jones cartoon "One Froggy Evening".
Considering the fact that this rangy reptile appeared in only this one theatrical short, his success and recognizability are nothing short of phenominal.

This cel and model sheet background capture many of the key poses and attitudes of the character chosen to serve as mascot for the Warner Bros. Television Network. In the world of animation, a model sheet is a collection of drawings of a specific character used to show his varying attitudes and characteristics.

This cel began with a master inking (from the animation) which was then silk-screened onto an acetate sheet (or "cel") along with the Warner Bros. Art Seal. Each cel was then expertly hand-painted on the reverse side. The background drawings were adapted from an original Michigan J. Frog model sheet from Warner Bros. The edition number was hand-inked on each cel in a special edition size of only 750, released in 1995. Upon completion of the edition, the original artwork was archived.

Each piece measures 16.5" inches across x 13.5" inches in height (unframed). It is applied to a Fine Art lithographic background. The cel has the official Warner Brothers gold seal (lower corner), and is accompanied with the Studio Certificate of Authenticity.
