Comic Mint is pleased to offer Looney Tunes fans this VERY RARE production cel setup featuring Daffy Duck and the Tasmanian Devil from the theatrical short "Ducking the Devil" (1957).

In the 1957 Robert McKimson classic, "Ducking the Devil," a rare pairing occurs which is fuelled by an old obsession - money. The pairing involves Daffy Duck, who learns when he encounters the Tasmanian Devil, that Taz is an escaped devil from the local zoo. But more importantly is Taz has $5,000 on his growling personae, and Daffy, ever the possesive duck, stands to collect, even after he is threatened to be a meal for the voracious little monster.
But that doesn't stop Daffy; as he seeks to lure the devil back to his $5K reward with music though in this case, by their deflated sacks, it seems bagpipes haven't quite done the trick. And yet Daffy forges on, which is adequate credit in itself. Beyond courage and intelligence, at least there is one so-called quality Daffy can rely; greed.

The Masterpiece Momments Collection creates an exciting opportunity for a collector to own an original drawing inspired by a classic moment in Looney Tunes animation. In this fine art collectible piece, Daffy in "Ducking the Devil," is a vintage original production cel, whilst Taz and the bagpipes are hand-inked and painted images placed on a digital background from the actual cartoon.

After research and selection of an image, noted Animation Director Darrell Van Citters recreates an original drawing from the original frame, which is signed by the artist. The drawing is then painstakingly hand-inked on the front side of a cel, and hand painted on the reverse side in the same manner that the original cartoons were created. This is then matched to a recreation of the original background by Master Background Artist, Hector Martinez. The final artwork, a collaboration from a team of seven Designers, Animators, Illustrators and Cartoon Colorists, is a unique creation for the most discerning collectors.

The cel bears the official Warner Bros. Studio Seal, and is accompanied with the Studio Certificate of Authenticity.
