This 12-field limited edition cel was recreated from an original frame in the 1967 episode “Journey to Atlantis”, the cel is hand-inked and hand-painted, and is placed against a print background. The cel bears the official SPEED RACER ENTERPRISES, INC. seal in the lower corner. This cel is especially cool, as it has been hand-signed by Ippei Kuri the Key Animator/Director of the original Speed Racer series, as well as Peter Fernandez (voice of Speed Racer) and Corinne Orr (voice of Trixie). (voice of Trixie).

This edition has been SOLD-OUT for nearly three decades, as it was released way back in 1992, and is very hard to find. Produced in an edition of only 200 pieces in the world, this is a RARE artist proof, which is hand-numbered 18 out of 20 pieces.

SPEED RACER was created by the Tatsunoko Studios in Japan in 1965. It came to America in a dubbed version in 1967. A total of 52 episodes were created.
