We are pleased to offer Ren & Stimpy fans this outstanding original key master production setup from the John Kricfalusi masterpiece "Space Madness" (1991), widely regarded as the BEST episode ever. The artwork is from the filmed sequence which appears on screen around the 8:24 mark.
This classic image features an insane Ren holding the toothbrush, uttering the classic line “Back off, Man !!!”
This is the ONLY setup available, and is comprised of one celluloid applied to the hand-painted master background.
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted piece that was filmed under the camera, and used in the making of this Ren & Stimpy episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork!
The animation cel and background measure 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide and has the three-peg punch holes, and bears the Nickelodeon gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is accompanied by the original Nickelodeon certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition. We have also suppled a Ren & Stimpy card, produced by Dynamic Marketing in 1994, which showcases this scene.
Episode Synopsis:
"Space Madness" is a first season episode of The Ren & Stimpy Show that originally aired on September 8th, 1991 and was the fifth episode in the series. Commander Hoek & Cadet Stimpy go into Space for a long mission. Commander Hoek is starting to go insane from being in space for so long, but belives that Cadet Stimpy is suffering from that problem... otherwise known as 'Space Madness.'
