Ren and Stimpy Show “Fake Dad" Production Drawing Animation Art (1993).

From the Season Two episode directed by John Kricfalusi and Jim Smith, this image shows President Dad on the phone, with Ren and Stimpy, at the Fake Dad headquarters, waiting to adopt a child (Kowalski).

This is a one-of-a-kind piece that was used in the making of this Ren & Stimpy episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see where this drawing was used to create the finished cel, which appears on screen around the 00:37 mark. We have provided a screenshot of the scene as reference.

This drawing was rendered in graphite and blue pencil on 12 field 3-peghole animation paper, with lots of animation notations. Some minor handling and wear, but otherwise in very good condition. The drawing measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide with three-peg punch holes. It has the official Nickelodeon embossed seal imprinted on the paper, and is accompanied with the Nickelodeon certificate of authenticity.

Episode Synopsis:
"Fake Dad" is a second season episode of The Ren & Stimpy Show that originally aired on December 12th, 1992 and was the 13th episode in the series. Ren and Stimpy adopt an overgrown, seven-year-old convict named Kowalski. Stimpy is kind and understanding towards the needy "youngster", but Ren has a bit more trouble adjusting to parenthood.
