We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel, from the classic third season episode "Itchy and Scratchy: The Movie" (1992).
Marge punishes Bart, by sending him to his room without supper. Bart sits on his bed, with the lights out. This is one of the largest, full-figured Bart cels we have seen.
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 08:47 mark. Bart is hand-painted onto a single cel, and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.
This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.
EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"Itchy and Scratchy: The Movie" is the sixth episode of The Simpsons' fourth season. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on November 3rd, 1992.
In the episode, Homer and Marge go to the school parents' evening to hear the bad news about Bart's behaviour. While they're out Bart, breaks the babysitter's teeth and Homer vows never to let him see the new `Itchy and Scratchy' movie.
