We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel, from the classic second season episode "Three Men and a Comic Book" (1991).

This sensational scene is set inside Bart’s treehouse, as a fight breaks out between Bart, Mulhouse and Martin, as the three become suspicious over the other over the precious Radioactive Man comic book. Marge interrupts the fight with a tray of milk and cookies.

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 18:20 mark. The characters are hand-painted onto three seperate cels, and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.

This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"Three Men and a Comic Book" is the twenty-first episode of The Simpsons' second season. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on May 9th, 1991.
In the episode, Bart catches a glimpse of the original issue of Radioactive Man for sale at a comic book convention, so he, Martin, and Milhouse combine their money to buy the valuable comic book, only to lose it due to their selfishness and inability to share.
