Comic Mint is pleased to offer CHUCK JONES fans this unique piece of animation art featuring Bugs Bunny and Hassan in this RARE sold out 12 field cel titled "Rabbit Rope Trick" (2001).
"Him go that-a-way" says "genie" Bugs to the Sultan's guard Hassan, referring to greedy, treasure-stealing Daffy Duck. Here's a great hand-painted limited edition cel of this scene from Ali Baba Bunny (1957), a Merrie Melodies cartoon directed by Chuck Jones. This classic short rated #35 in Jerry Beck's book The 50 Greatest Cartoons.
This small edition of 100 pieces (worldwide) was released in 2001 and is a tough edition to find. The artwork is comprised of a single hand painted cel placed against a photographic background, with an image area measuring 12.5" x 10.5" inches (unframed).
The cel includes an estate plate Chuck Jones signature, and a Linda Jones gold seal (lower corner), and is accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
