Comic Mint, your best source for rare, kooky, and classic animation art, is pleased to offer MR. MAGOO fans this vintage model sheet featuring nine great character poses of the nearsighted Magoo created by Pete Alvarado for his work on the UPA character in 1964.
Pete Alvarado pencilled the Mr. Magoo newspaper strip for it’s entire run from 1964 through to 1966. Pencilled in graphite, the animation sheet measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide and has the three-peg punch holes, and is in very good condition.
This model sheet comes from the Pete Alvarado estate.
Pete Alvarado (1920-2003) was an American animation and comic book artist. Alvarado's animation career spanned almost 60 years. He was also a prolific contributor to Western Publishing's line of comic books.
