Everyone's favourite swamp dweller, Man-Thing, takes center stage in this vivid, full color re-creation of a mighty Marvel milestone cover from the Bronze Age... Man-Thing #1. This masterwork has an image area of 14" x 20"inches, and the art is in excellent condition. The piece was signed and dated by Frank Brunner in the lower left.

FRANK BRUNNER
Frank Brunner was born in 1949 in New York. He began his professional career in 1969 and has been drawing, writing and painting ever since. His early work appeared in fanzines such as Infinity, Phase 1, H Heritage, This is Legend, etc.
He had his first strip in Castle of Frankenstein, the Web of Horror, and went on to work on titles such as Vampirella, Creepy, Eerie, Chamber of Chills, Doctor Strange, Man-Thing, Howard the Duck, Savage Sword of Conan, Elric (Heavy Metal), Warp, Alien Worlds, Star-Reach, Quack and Unknown Worlds of Frank Brunner. In 1984 he wrote and illustrated a graphic novel, Seven Samuroid.
In 1985 Frank moved to Hollywood and began work in animation and movies, and also theme-park design. He worked on shows such as Jonny Quest (1986), Dino-Riders, Sky Commanders, Dark Waters, X-Men, Dark Stalkers, Skeleton Warriors, Extreme GhostBusters and Robocop Commando. He also worked on features such as Cellar Dweller, Dr. Strange (TV movie), Once Upon a Forest, From Time to Time (Euro Disneyland) and Dinosaur Valley Girls, paintings for Topps trading cards, Jurassic Park, Star Wars Galaxy, Vampirella, Mars Attacks!, etc. He also created seven very successful art portfolios including Alice in Wonderland and two more based on Michael Moorcock's Elric.
