This is the original art for the "DENNIS THE MENACE" Sunday Comic Strip, dated July 24th, 1988.
Written and drawn by legendary American cartoonist, HANK KETCHUM (1920 - 2001). The artwork features Dennis and his neighbour, Mr. Wilson. Created in ink over pencil on Bristol board with zipatone shading, the artwork measures 14" x 21" inches on standard art board.
The art is in very good condition, and is ALL original, no title or word balloon paste-ups! Ketchum fully hand lettered his comic strips. The artwork is signed above and below the sunday title by Hank Ketchum, and comes with a certificate of authenticity (as pictured).
