Comic Mint is pleased to offer Hanna-Barbera fans this long SOLD-OUT limited edition cel. This cel entitled "Knot for Beginners" depicts a funny scene featuring Hong Kong Phooey and Spot the cat.
The art for this limited edition was created at the Hanna Barbera studio in Hollywood, by transferring the artist's inking onto an acetate sheet (or "cel"). Each cel was then expertly hand-painted on the reverse side.
Each "Knot for Beginners" is individually numbered and features the signatures of Bill Hanna and Joseph Barbera, as well as Butch Hartman, who designed this edition.
This SOLD-OUT edition was limited to only 250 pieces (worldwide), and is very difficult to find as it was released back in 1995. The artwork measures 14.5" x 10.5" inches and has the official Hanna-Barbera gold Seal of Authenticity in the lower right corner. The artwork is in excellent condition and is issued with a letter of authenticity.
