A Flintstones Christmas Carol Book - Original Interior Pages 10 and 11 Illustration Artwork (Hanna-Barbera, USA, 1994).
This stunning double-page spread illustration features Fred holding Pebbles, running through the snow to get to his car in a Bedrock Winter Wonderland, with Wilma and Dino looking on in bemusement. They are fully painted onto celluloid, and placed against an original air-brushed background on illustration board. The artwork has an image area of 21" x 14" inches, and is in very good condition.
The original pencil layouts for each page were done by the hand of the great Bob Singer, for this children's book of the same name, which was released at the time of the special. Bob Singer worked for Hanna-Barbera for 27 years as a character designer, storyboard artist, and the man who put together the studio's first Character Design Department.
This made-for-television Holiday TV special premiered on 11/21/94 on ABC. It has been shown year in and year out on Boomerang as well as Toon Disney. It also has been released on VHS tape and DVD.
