Comic Mint is pleased to offer JETSONS fans this long SOLD-OUT limited edition cel entitled "Speed Limit 5500". This scene showcases the Jetsons in their space car being pulled over by the Space Police, and this funny scene quickly sold out on release in 1989, and is now one of the most sought after Hanna-Barbera editions.
The art for this limited edition was created at the Hanna Barbera studio in Hollywood, by transferring the artist's inking onto an acetate sheet (or "cel"). Each cel was then expertly hand-painted on the reverse side. Each "Speed Limit" is individually numbered and features the signatures of Bill Hanna and Joseph Barbera.
This SOLD-OUT edition was limited to only 300 pieces (worldwide), and is very difficult to find as it was released over 25 years ago. The artwork measures 12.5" by 10.5" inches and is in excellent condition and accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
