The Jetsons Opening Main Titles Sequence Production Cel Setup
It's one of the most famous opening song sequences in animation history! C'mon, sing it with us: "Meet George Jetson... his boy Elroy... daughter Judy... Jane, his wife!”
This is a VERY rare hand-inked and hand-painted 12 field production cel setup of George Jetson about to eject his wife, Jane from his space car.
This is the actual one-of-a-kind 3-cel setup of Jane (holding George’s wallet), George and his Space Car, shown at the beginning of EVERY episode. This setup is comprised of three separate cels, the first being Jane (holding George’s wallet) which can be seen on screen at 0:44, the cel of George about to push the eject button appears on screen at 0:27, and the Space Car appears on screen for a number of scenes in the opening credits.
Only 24 episodes were produced for the first season of The Jetsons. Original setups from this famous opening title song sequence are highly coveted by H-B collectors. A truly historic piece!The artwork is in fine condition and was created at the HANNA-BARBERA studios in Hollywood, California and is issued with a certificate of authenticity.
