This beautiful title cel features Top Cat's gang (from left to right) Brain, Choo Choo, Top Cat, Benny the Ball, Spook and Fancy Fancy. This cel measures 12.5" by 10.5" inches, and is in excellent condition. The artwork was created in 1996 at HANNA-BARBERA as part of a marketing/publicity/Consumer Products project.
The characters and logos are all hand painted onto a single cel, and is placed against a print of an original Top Cat production background. Typically, Publicity Cels are created during production of a series. Slides and transparencies are created from this art and sent to magazines and newspapers in order to gather interest in a series. Photos are also sent to fans who write into the studio requesting a photo.
Cels such as this are EXTREMELY RARE and were NEVER made available in stores, so finding a cel such as this one with the main cast is virtually impossible!
