Comic Mint is pleased to offer MARVEL fans this original production storyboard drawing created at the Marvel Studios for their first animated film “Ultimate Avengers” (2006).
This storyboard features Giant Man (Hank Pym), collapsing to his knees in agony, after being punched in the knee by the incredible Hulk, this was used during the animation process.
A unique piece of Marvel history.

The storyboard is rendered in graphite and blue pencil on a sheet of studio-printed storyboard paper and numbered page 44. The storyboard contains hand-written production/scene notes, measuring 8.5” x 14” inches overall, and is in excellent condition. We have provided two high resolution screenshots from the scenes, to show as reference where the drawings were used in the making of this film, which appear on screen around the 01:00:35 mark.

Storyboards are the first step in the animation process. The production team use them to determine exactly how they want each scene to look, and a massive creative effort is put into these storyboards. These unique pages give us a great insight into the making of the film, and are an integral part of the production process.

STORY SYNOPSIS:
In 1945, Captain America, U.S. soldier created with a Super-Soldier Serum, is fighting the Nazis during World War II, and after averting a nuclear disaster, he falls into the icy waters of the North Atlantic, and frozen in suspended animation, only to be revived in the twenty-first century by the American military, who are hoping that they can recreate the serum in Captain America's blood in order to create more super-soldiers. But now, with the world facing the very same evil, Captain America must rise again as our last hope of survival, and lead a strong-willed team of today's superheroes including Iron Man, Thor, Wasp and Giant Man.
