Cool World Original Production Cel (Paramount, 1992).
Superhero "doodle" Super Jack is getting a little crazy in this original two-layered hand-painted production cel setup which was produced by animation legend Ralph Bakshi.
The Cool World creator, "noid" Jack Deebs (Gabriel Byrne), transforms into a muscle-bound "doodle" superhero in this film that mixed of live-action with animation. The image of Super Jack measures 5" inches tall, and the impressive surrealistic foreground (all painted), takes up one third of the cel. Both cels are applied to a print background for presentation purposes.
This cel has been meticulously hand painted onto celluloid (acetate), and can been around the 1:31:26 mark of the film, measuring 12.5” x 10.5” inches, the artwork comes with the Paramount certificate of authenticity.
