We are pleased to offer PEANUTS fans this unique piece of animation art entitled: "Charlie Brown's Christmas, Celebrating 50 Years of Joy and Wonder!" which was created under the artistic direction of animation director, Lawrence Leichliter, at Bill Melendez Productions, Inc., in association with Lee Mendelson Productions and Charles M. Schulz's Creative Associates in 2015.
Larry beautifully choreographed ten classic moments from this celebrated TV special to create a very limited unique pan cel set-up.
"Charlie Brown's Christmas, Celebrating 50 Years of Joy and Wonder!" is a two-level animation cel set-up, hand-inked and hand-painted, and mounted on a giclee background print. The background was replicated on 315 gsm 100% cotton rag paper from an original hand-painted background especially prepared for this limited edition.
Preserving these treasured moments in this limited edition animation art from the Peanuts television debut, has been fashioned in the finest tradition of Bill Melendez Productions, Inc. A Charlie Brown Christmas originally aired on Thursday evening, December 9th, 1965. A Peanuts limited edition is individually numbered and bears the Peanuts Film Gallery seal of authenticity and is accompanied with the studio certificate of authenticity.
This SOLD-OUT edition was produced in a small edition size of 65 pieces (worldwide) and the artwork measures a whopping 31" x 11.5" inches (unframed).
