We are pleased to offer Ren & Stimpy fans this incredible original key master production setup from the classic Bob Camp episode "Mad Dog Höek" (1992).
Great scene featuring Stimpy, lying on the canvas ring (beaten to a pulp by Mr. Loaf) with Ren (hiding behind the turnbuckle).
Stimpy: "Hey Ren! Pretending to wrestle is the most fun in the whole world! Come on, Ren! Let me tag you so you can play!"
Ren: "No no, no that's okay Stimpy! I already had lots of fun. Besides, (chuckles nervously) I wouldn't think of depriving you of such a good time!
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted piece that was filmed under the camera, and used in the making of this Ren & Stimpy episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork which appears on screen around the 04:27 mark. This setup is comprised of two hand painted celluloids placed against the matching hand-painted scene background.
The animation cels measure 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide and have the three-peg punch holes, and bears the Nickelodeon gold seal (lower corner). The matching scene background is hand painted in gouache on board, measuring 10.5 inches by 13.5 inches wide and has the three-peg punch holes. The artwork is also accompanied with the original Nickelodeon certificate of authenticity, and the artwork is in excellent condition.
Episode Synopsis:
"Mad Dog Höek" is a second season episode of The Ren & Stimpy Show that originally aired on November 21st, 1992 and was episode 5.
Convinced that wrestling is all an act, Mad Dog Höek (Ren) and Killer Kodoogan (Stimpy) are thrown into the wrestling ring for a bout against the enormous Lout Brothers, Lump and Loaf.
