We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel, from the classic fourth season episode "Duffless" (1993).
After losing his driver’s license, Homer goes off to work… on Lisa's bike! Nelson passes by, popping a wheelie and laughing in his face. Homer bemoans his fate, but discovers a little ringing bell and enjoys it!
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 10:05 mark. Homer and the tricycle are hand-painted onto separate cels and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.
This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.
EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"Duffless" is the sixteenth episode of the fourth season of the American animated television series The Simpsons. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on February 18th, 1993. Homer gets arrested for drunk driving, and Marge asks him to stop drinking beer for a month. Meanwhile, after Bart ruins Lisa's science fair project, she attempts to get revenge by proving that he is dumber than a hamster.
