Great scene featuring Marge, dressed seductively, trying to snuggle in bed with Homer, who is glued to the TV.
Homer: "Please, Marge! How often can I see a movie of this calibre on late-night TV?”
Marge: "Is there something wrong, Homey?”
Homer: "No! It's just that I've only seen this movie twice before and I've seen you every night for the last eleven ye -- er, what I meant to say is, uh, we'll snuggle tomorrow sweetie... I promise!"
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 01:02 mark. The characters are hand-painted onto fhree seperate cels, and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.
This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.
EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"Grampa vs. Sexual Inadequacy" is the tenth episode of The Simpsons' sixth season. It was first broadcast on the Fox network in the United States on December 4th, 1994.
In the episode, Homer and Marge's sex life wanes, so Grampa restores it with a homemade revitalizing tonic. He and Homer travel town-to-town selling the elixir, but they are estranged after Grampa reveals that Homer’s conception was unintentional.
