Comic Mint is your best source for 100% genuine Simpsons Animation Artwork licensed by Twentieth Century Fox.
We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel setup, from the classic twelfth season episode "HOMR" (2001).

Homer buys 500 shares of Animotion, Inc., after assuring the stockbroker he understands the risks of the stock market.  Homer watches in horror the night's business report on TV.
His Animotion stock plunges 78 points, and the company declares super-duper bankruptcy. Homer, who was the sole stockholder, loses virtually the entire investment.

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel setup (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork which appears on screen around the 08:20 mark. Homer is hand-painted onto a single cel, and placed against the matching scene print background.

This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"HOMR" is the ninth episode of The Simpsons’ twelfth season, and originally aired on January 7th, 2001, and is the ninth episode of the twelfth season.
In the episode, while working as a human guinea pig (to pay off the family's lost savings after making a bad investment), Homer discovers the root cause of his subnormal intelligence: a crayon that was lodged in his brain ever since he was six years old. He decides to have it removed to increase his IQ, but soon learns that being intelligent is not always the same as being happy.
