We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel, from the classic tenth season episode "Homer to the Max" (1999)

Chief Wiggum pulls his car up next to the redwoods (an endangered forrest), alongside a few idle bulldozers and their operators.
Wiggum: "All right, what's going on here?"
Begley: "We can't allow you to destroy these beautiful trees, which have the same rights you have!"
Wiggum: "Man, I have really had it with you tree-huggers!"

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 19:58 mark. Chief Wiggum is hand-painted onto a single cel, and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.

This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"Homer to the Max" is the thirteenth episode of the tenth season of the American animated television series The Simpsons. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on February 7, 1999. In the episode, Homer discovers that a new television show, Police Cops, has a hero also named Homer Simpson. He is delighted with the positive attention he receives because of his name, but when the television character is rewritten from a hero to a bumbling idiot, he is mocked and taunted, so he changes his name to "Max Power" to rid himself of the negative attention. Max gains new friends, and is forced into a protest to prevent a forest from being knocked down. In the end, he changes his name back to Homer Simpson.
