We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel setup, from the classic sixth season episode "Itchy & Scratchy Land" (1994).
In the Itchy and Scratchy episode, "The Last Traction Hero”, Scratchy works out with a large dumbbell. After three overhead lifts, his entire upper body becomes huge and muscular. He flexes a bit, and proudly walks over to Itchy menacingly. Upon seeing him flex his biceps and chest, Itchy thinks for a moment, then smiles and pulls out a pink balloon and a pin. He bursts the balloon, then pokes Scratchy in the chest, hoping for the same result !!!
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel setup (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 00:52 mark. The characters are hand-painted onto separate cels, and placed against the scene matching original hand-painted background.
This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

"Itchy & Scratchy Land" is the fourth episode of the sixth season of the American animated television series The Simpsons. It first aired on the Fox network in the United States on October 2nd, 1994. After weeks of begging, Bart and Lisa finally convince their parents to take them to Itchy and Scratchy Land, a new high-tech amusement park on a remote island.
