We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel setup, from the classic SIMPSONS episode "Sweets And Sour Marge" (2002).
After the sugar ban is over, Marge laments to Homer that "Maybe I should just stop trying to change the world”
Homer: "No, Marge. I love when you do that! You're a regular Caring-a-lot-ovich”.
Marge: "That's the best one!” Homer: “That’s what I told Lisa”. They embrace and kiss, and the episode ends with Archies tune, ‘Sugar, Sugar’ playing.
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 21:20 mark. Homer and Marge are hand-painted onto seperate cels, and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.
This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.
