We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this outstanding original production drawing featuring Krusty from the classic eighth season episode "Brother from Another Series" (1997).
In this flashback scene, Krusty and an executive, Hal, watch auditions. Cecil is dressed in full clown regalia, while Sideshow Bob is dressed in a conservative suit and hat.
Krusty: "Number 73, you're next. Make with the laugh-laugh”
Cecil: "Uh, I have prepared a pie-in-the-face take” Krusty: (groans) "All right, knock yourself out, kid. Hal?" Cecil: (the pie plasters him) Ooh. (he grins half-heartedly) Krusty: "Free comedy tips slick, the pie gag is only funny if the sap's got dignity!”
This is a one-of-a-kind piece that was used in the making of this Simpsons episode. The drawing bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner) and is accompanied by the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity. The artwork is in excellent condition.
We have also provided a screenshot of the scene with the time, to show as reference where this scene drawing was used in the making of this episode, which appears on screen around the 08:06 mark.
