We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this outstanding original production drawing featuring Snake from the classic tenth season episode "Treehouse of Horror lX" (1998).
This drawing is set inside the Kwik-E-Mart, with Chief Wiggum bursting through the front door with his gun drawn aimed at Snake, who raises his hands and flicks away a cigarette:
Snake: "Yo, chill out dude, I'll pay the fine" Wiggum: "Not this time, you won't; this is your third strike. First you torched that orphanage, then you blew up that bus full of nuns …" Snake: "Hey, that was self-defense!”
This is a one-of-a-kind piece that was used in the making of this Simpsons episode. The drawing bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner) and is accompanied by the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity. The artwork is in excellent condition.
We have also provided a screenshot of the scene with the time, to show as reference where this scene drawing was used in the making of this episode, which appears on screen around the 01:27 mark. It’s interesting to note that the animators goofed up in this scene, forgetting to pencil in Snake’s jacket pocket and earring.
