"Nice trick, sweetheart." The heinous Joker tries to pin Andrea Beaumont down at the 1:00:51 mark of the animated film Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, just seconds before learning that she hit back.
The film, directed by Eric Radomski and Bruce Timm, took what made Batman: The Animated Series TV show good and adapted it to a full-length movie. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see where this drawing was used to create the finished cel, we have provided a screenshot of the scene as reference.
Both characters are rendered in graphite with blue colored pencil on 12.5" x 10.5” inch animation paper, numbered B-22 in the top right corner and displays the WB studio seal on the left edge of the paper.
