We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel, from the classic sixth season episode "Bart’s Girlfriend" (1994).
This funny scene opens in Veteran's Park where Bart, Lisa, and some other children crawl along the ground, dressed as Indians. Bart motions his troupe to stop:
Lisa: "Remember, Bart... I mean, Dances In Underwear... we take the White Man alive” Bart: "All right, Thinks Too Much (Lisa), it shall be so!"
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 00:47 mark. The characters are hand-painted onto two seperate cels, and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.
This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.
EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"Bart's Girlfriend" is the seventh episode of the sixth season of the American animated television series The Simpsons. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on November 6th, 1994. The plot of the episode follows the secret romance of Bart and Jessica Lovejoy, Reverend Lovejoy's daughter. Bart tries to end the romance when he discovers that, behind her innocent façade as a preacher's kid, she is an even bigger troublemaker than he is. Jessica then steals the money from the church collection plate, leaving Bart to take the blame until Lisa exposes the truth.
