Comic Mint is your best source for 100% genuine Simpsons Animation Artwork licensed by Twentieth Century Fox.
We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel, from the classic eighth season episode "Mountain of Madness" (1997).
Sensational scene set inside the snowed-in cabin, where Burns and Homer build snowmen to pass the time. They stupidly decide that the snowmen must be dressed and give them their clothes. Freezing in thin blankets, they stare at their snowman counterparts in their underwear: Burns: "Look at them. Smug and secure in their finery. Mocking us!” Homer: "Uh, they're just snowmen, Mr. Burns!"
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 17:50 mark. The characters are hand-painted onto seperate cels, and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.
This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.
