We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel, from the classic ninth season episode "Lisa's Sax" (1997).
Fabulous flashback scene, featuring Doctor Hibbert, looking very similar to Mr. T - sporting a mohawk and beard, as well as a Mr. T outfit.
Giving Bart a check-up, he tells Marge: "Mrs Simpson, physically your son is as sound as the dollar! I'm afraid Bart's severe emotional dysfunction stems from a deep-seated psychological trauma!" Hibbert begins laughing!
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 09:46 mark. The characters are hand-painted onto seperate cels, and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.
This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

"Lisa's Sax" is the third episode of the ninth season of the American animated television series The Simpsons. It originally aired on the Fox networkin the United States on October 19th, 1997, to overwhelmingly positive reviews. In the series' sixth flashback episode, it is explained how Lisa got her saxophone.
