We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel, from the classic eighth season episode Episode: "Treehouse of Horror VII" (1996).

This scene is from the Treehouse of Horror's first segment titled, "The Thing and I”.
The night has fallen upon Springfield, and everything is quiet. However, Bart and Lisa are awakened by strange moaning and rattling sounds. It appears the sounds originate from the attic. The next morning, during breakfast, Bart asks Homer about it.
Bart: "Did you guys hear something moving around in the attic last night?" Homer: "Attic? Oh, that's silly! (laughs) Seriously though, don't ever go up there!
Marge: "Homer, isn't it about time for the... you know?"
Homer: "Yeah, yeah, I'll go feed it!” (goes to the fridge, where he picks up a bucket of fish heads).

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 01:03 mark. The characters are hand-painted onto separate cels and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.

This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.
