We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production PAN cel, from the classic third season episode # "Homer at the Bat" (1992).

Sensational pan cel featuring a pivotal moment from this classic episode in which Homer gets up to step to the plate, to the cheers of Lenny and Carl.

The game is tied, it's the bottom of the ninth, and the bases are loaded. There are two outs, and Darryl Strawberry is due to bat. Even though Darryl has hit nine home runs, Burns sends him to the showers because Strawberry and the pitcher are both left-handed. (“It's called playing the percentages."') He sends Homer, a right-hander, to the plate instead.

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted piece that was filmed under the camera, and used in the making of this Simpsons episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork! The characters are hand-painted onto separate cels, and placed against a copy made from the original matching scene background.

The animation cel measures 17 inches by 11 inches wide and has the three-peg punch holes, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is accompanied by the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"Homer at the Bat" is the seventeenth episode of The Simpsons' third season. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on February 20th, 1992.
The episode follows the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant softball team, led by Homer, having a winning season and making the championship game. Mr. Burns makes a large bet that the team will win and brings in nine ringers from the "big leagues" to ensure his success.
