We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel, from the classic sixth season episode "Lisa on Ice" (1994).

Great scene in the kitchen featuring Homer succumbing to the temptation of eating Marge’s freshly baked pie! 
Homer: "All right, pie, I'm just going to do this… (chomps air) and if you get eaten, it’s your own fault!” Homer walks towards the pie, bangs his head on the range hood, grabs the pie and eats it !!!!

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 14:35 mark. Both characters are hand-painted onto seperate cels, and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.

This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"Lisa on Ice" is the eighth episode of the sixth season of the American animated television series The Simpsons. It was the first broadcast on the Fox network in the United States on November 13th, 1994. In this episode, test scores at Springfield Elementary have hit an all-time low., so Principal Skinner starts to giving out academic alerts so the children's parents can know they're doing poorly. Lisa discovers that she's on the academic alert list for failing gym class. After trying and failing at basketball and volleyball, Apu discovers that Lisa has a talent for blocking/parrying objects, and makes her goalie for his pee-wee ice hockey team - which puts her in direct sibling rivalry with Bart.
