Comic Mint, your best source for rare, kooky, and classic animation art, is pleased to offer SPEED RACER fans this sensational hand-painted limited edition prototype cel titled 'Gang of Assassins'. The cel is hand-inked and hand-painted, and is placed against the original hand-painted background used to produce photographic prints for the edition.
This cel and drawing has been signed by Ippei Kuri the Key Animator/Director of the original Speed Racer series, and the drawing is signed by Peter Fernandez (voice of Speed Racer).
The limited edition which was produced from this artwork is RARE and has been SOLD-OUT for nearly two decades, as it was released way back in 1993, and is very hard to find. It was produced in an edition of only 200 pieces in the world, which were hand-numbered. The cel has the official studio gold seal (lower left corner) and is accompanied with a gallery certificate of authenticity.
