COMMENTS
Pencilled by Wellinton Alves - Original artwork to the graphic novel, DAREDEVIL: SEASON ONE page 16 (Marvel, 2011).
Wellington Alves’ work was an appropriate choice for this graphic novel format aimed at non-comic book readers. Alves makes use of clear layouts and unambiguous storytelling. His sense of space and movement is an undeniable asset for a character like Daredevil, whose visual appeal relies on acrobatics. Alves takes great lengths to visualise Murdock’s sense-based powers, utilising a more cinematic approach with each action scene playing out like a scene from a big budget movie.
Graphite pencils on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of approximately 10" x 15" inches and the artwork is in excellent condition.
Please note that the comic book images are for reference only, and is not sold with the artwork.
