Song of the South "The Three Brers" is an outstanding hand-inked, hand-painted limited edition of 500 character cel setups featuring Brer Fox, Brer Bear, and Brer Rabbit, based on artwork from the classic Walt Disney's animated film "Song of the South" (1946).

The original animation drawings were transferred to acetate cels by a special six-step xerographic process," and each cel was "enhanced with hand-inked lines. Artists of the Walt Disney Studios Ink and Paint Department hand-painted each of the cels in the edition."

The background scene print accompanying this limited edition cel was recreated by a Disney artist and printed on "premium-quality, acid-free paper." Included is the 7" x 10" Certificate of Authenticity of The Walt Disney Company. The overall image size is 11.75" x 15.75" including the background print; the cel sheet measures 12.5" x 16" and the background sheet 13.75" x 17.25". The artwork is in MINT condition, and is packed in the ORIGINAL Disney folder it came in over two decades ago!

This piece is numbered 252/500, and the cel bears the Disney embossed seal in the lower corner.
