Comic Mint, is pleased to offer FLINTSTONES fans this RARE hand painted limited edition animation cel entitled "Nuthin' But the Tooth II " (2003), signed by Joe Barbera and Bob Singer.
Since the passing of Flintstones creator and animator Joe Barbera late in 2006, Nuthin' But the Tooth II has been a sold-out edition. We have acquired a RARE Artists Proof, numbered 14 out of 20.
The art for this limited edition was created at the Hanna Barbera studio in Hollywood. The original drawing was hand-inked, then the master inking printed onto a sheet of exlar film through the silk-screening process. Each cel was then hand-painted using original Hanna-Barbera colors. The background was reproduced using a fine lithography process. Each piece from the edition was individually numbered and features the signatures of William Hanna and Joseph Barbera.
This SOLD-OUT edition was limited to only 100 pieces, and 20 artist proofs, and has been SOLD-OUT for over a decade. The artwork measures 16.5" x 10.5" inches and it has the official Hanna-Barbera Studio seal in the lower corner.
The artwork is in excellent condition.
