Comic Mint is pleased to offer MARVEL fans this original production storyboard drawing created at the Marvel Studios for their first animated film “Ultimate Avengers” (2006).

This storyboard features a fantastic sequential progression of Captain America, having been punched by the Hulk, is catapulted skywards, several stories high, and comes tumbling back down to the pavement. This storyboard was used during the animation process. A unique piece of Marvel history.

Integral to the planning of the scenes and sequences of the film, these stunning drawings are rendered in graphite and blue pencil on 14" x 8.5" inch studio-printed bond storyboard paper. The storyboard is numbered page 148 and is in excellent condition. We have provided a high resolution screenshot of the scene, to show as reference where this drawing was used in the making of this film, which begins on screen around the 01:02:49 mark.

Storyboards are the first step in the animation process. The production team use them to determine exactly how they want each scene to look, and a massive creative effort is put into these storyboards. These unique pages give us a great insight into the making of the film, and are an integral part of the production process.

STORY SYNOPSIS:
In 1945, Captain America, U.S. soldier created with a Super-Soldier Serum, is fighting the Nazis during World War II, and after averting a nuclear disaster, he falls into the icy waters of the North Atlantic, and frozen in suspended animation, only to be revived in the twenty-first century by the American military, who are hoping that they can recreate the serum in Captain America's blood in order to create more super-soldiers. But now, with the world facing the very same evil, Captain America must rise again as our last hope of survival, and lead a strong-willed team of today's superheroes including Iron Man, Thor, Wasp and Giant Man.
