We are pleased to offer PEANUTS fans this unique piece of animation art entitled: “Mission Control: We’re Ready for Assignment” based on the 1988 episode: This is America Charlie Brown: The NASA Space Station.
This new limited edition was designed by animation director, Larry Leichliter. Using artwork from the studio archives, including publicity drawings, original key pose sheets and an original background, Larry designed the Character Layout drawing for the animation cels as well as the Key Pose Model Sheet.
This animation cel is hand-inked and hand-painted, featuring 3 ink colors and 22 paint colors, and it is mounted on a giclée print background. The cel is accompanied by a Key Pose Model Sheet giclée print, signed by Larry Leichliter.
The pan cel measures 16.25" inches wide x 9.5" inches high and the Model Sheet measures 16" inches wide x 10" inches high. Both pieces are serial numbered in a small edition size of just 50 pieces and bear the studio seal of authenticity.
