We are pleased to offer Ren & Stimpy fans this incredible original key master production setup from the John Kricfalusi classic episode “Nurse Stimpy" (1993).

This scene is from the opening of the episode, in which we hear the soundtrack to Beethoven's "The Pastoral Symphony" playing as glittering sunlight streams through a bedroom window. The camera pans over to Stimpy asleep in bed and bathed in the sunlight. The alarm clock on the bedside table rings. Stimpy wakes up with a big smile on his face. 
Stimpy: Oh joy of joys! Another beeyootiful day! Smell that fresh air! (He sniffs the air and stretches).

This is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece that was filmed under the camera, and used in the making of this episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork which appears on screen around the 13:19 mark. This setup is comprised of three hand painted celluloids placed against the matching hand-painted scene background.

The animation cels measure 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide and have the three-peg punch holes, and bears the Nickelodeon gold seal (lower corner). The scene background is hand painted in gouache on board, measuring 10.5 inches by 13.5 inches wide and has the three-peg punch holes. The artwork is also accompanied with the original Nickelodeon certificate of authenticity, and is in excellent condition.

Episode Synopsis:
"Nurse Stimpy" is a first season episode of The Ren & Stimpy Show that originally aired on August 25th, 1991 and was the 4th episode in the series. Stricken with an illness, Ren is brought back to health through Stimpy's unusual nursing practices. In some cases, the cure can be worse than the illness !!!!
