Comic Mint is pleased to offer Looney Tunes fans this unique piece of animation art featuring Yosemite Sam and Bugs Bunny in this sold out 12 field cel entitled: "Bugs Bunny Rides Again".

Friz Freleng conceived some of the most memorable Looney Tunes characters, including Yosemite Sam. The gunslinger represented all that was rough and tumble in the Wild West, but in a pint-sized, ill-tempered package. Of course, Sam was never a match for Bugs Bunny in either wit, charm, or intelligence, yet that never stopped Freleng from bringing both characters together in a battle of wills.

In the Freleng-directed short, "Bugs Bunny Rides Again," even with all his bravado, Sam finds he is no match for Bugs and his Wild West-related shenanigans. In this image, Bugs shows Sam even the seriousness of poker is a game to which puns and humilation apply. Case in point is when Sam asks Bugs to "cut the deck," Bugs takes this request to heart, and "cuts" the deck... with a meat cleaver.

After selection of an image from a Friz Freleng cartoon, noted director Darrell Van Citters recreates the animation from the original film. The background is digitally recreated from the original film. It is then reproduced as a fine art Giclle print. The master inking was made by Laurie Dindis, and silk-screened onto acetate along with the Clampett Studio Collection seal of authenticity. Each cel was expertly hand-painted on the reverse side in the classic animation style.

In the final step of production, the edition number was hand-inked on each cel in an edition size of 50. The artwork has an image area measuring 12.5" x 10.5" inches (unframed), and is accompanied with the studio certificate of authenticity.
