The Ren and Stimpy Show “Black Hole" Production Cel Setup (1992).
Sensational image of Commander Hoek grabbing Cadet Stimpy, after surviving from being sucked into the "hideous vortex" black hole.
Ren: "We're alive! Alive, I tell you, ALIVE !!! Flesh and blood, not wax! Do you realise we're the first dog and cat to pass through the black hole and LIVE... to tell the tale. And now, here we are in this wondrous new universe completely unaffected by the journey!"
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted cel setup which was filmed and used in the making of this episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 02:28 mark. Both characters are hand-painted onto a single animation cel measuring 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide and have the three-peg punch holes, and has the Nickelodeon gold seal (upper corner).
The cel is placed against the scene matching background, and is accompanied with the original Nickelodeon certificate of authenticity, and is in excellent condition.
