We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel, from the classic fourteenth season episode "How I Spent My Strummer Vacation" (2002).
When Homer learns that the camp is just a one-week-only camp, he is bitterly disappointed and refuses to leave.
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 15:35 mark. All the characters are hand-painted onto animation cels and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.
This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

"How I Spent My Strummer Vacation" is the second episode of The Simpsons' fourteenth season. It first aired on the Fox network in the United States on November 10th, 2002. When Homer is secretly videotaped complaining about his family in a taxi, they send him off to a rock and roll fantasy camp so he can try to live his dream.
