We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this extremely RARE hand painted original production mega-pan cel, from the classic SIMPSONS season three episode # "Like Father, Like Clown" (1991).
This vintage mega-pan features Krusty reuniting with his father, Rabbi Krustofsky on stage. Krusty makes the tender announcement on his show, that he and his father sing a song together. This is the first Rabbi Krustofsky cel to surface on the market in two decades!
This piece is HUGE, measuring a whopping 19" x 13" inches, with both characters on seperate sheets of celluloid.
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted piece that was filmed under the camera, and used in the making of this Simpsons episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork!
The animation cel bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is accompanied by the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.
EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"Like Father, Like Clown" is the sixth episode of The Simpsons' third season. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on October 24, 1991. In the episode, after recalling a traumatic memory, Krusty the Clown reveals to the Simpson family that he is of Jewish heritage, and that his father, Rabbi Hyman Krustofski, disowned him for pursuing a career in comedy. Krusty is emotionally upset and Bart and Lisa decide to try to reunite Krusty with his long-estranged father.
