COMMENTS
Here is an original, one-of-a-kind pen and ink comic strip created by Disney artists, depicting the character Scrooge McDuck and members of his family. This comic strip was published during the years 1959 to 1988 in various newspapers throughout North America.
The original comic strip has been paired with a specially created, giclee-printed mat featuring Scrooge's famous money bin. As a finishing touch, each comic strip is signed by Carl Barks to commemorate his role as the creator of the Scrooge McDuck character.

The Comic Strip is dated December 10th, 1988, and measures 14.75" x 5.25" inches.
Carl Barks, the genius behind the creation of Scrooge McDuck, the world's richest duck, and the man who drew the comic book adventures of Donald Duck and his family back in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, has had a long and distinguished career as a world-class artist and cartoonist. Following his retirement in 1974, Mr. Barks began to render a series of oil paintings featuring the Disney ducks. There have now been well over 100 of these paintings, which have also been made available as limited edition lithographs, and are exhibited and sold in galleries worldwide.
Carl Barks died in 2000 at the age of 99.

These original pen and ink comic strips had been archived by Walt Disney Art Classics and made available for sale beginning in the year 2000, they are now rarely available for sale.
