Comic Mint, is pleased to offer YOGI BEAR fans this RARE hand painted limited edition animation cel entitled "PIC-A-NIC PALS" (1991), signed by Bill Hanna & Joe Barbera.
This RARE Artist Proof cel features Yogi and Boo Boo eating from a pic-a-nic basket at Jellystone Park.
The art for this limited edition was created at the Hanna Barbera studio in Hollywood. The original drawing was hand-inked, then the master inking printed onto a sheet of exlar film through the silk-screening process . Each cel was then hand-painted using original Hanna-Barbera colors. The background was reproduced using a fine lithography process.
This edition was limited to only 25 Artist Proofs, and this edition has been SOLD-OUT for over 30 years. The artwork measures 12.5" by 10.5" inches and it has the official Hanna-Barbera Studio seal in the lower corner, and is issued with a certificate of authenticity.
